WHY Donate?
,Freedomschoolers Academy has operated as a tuition and fee free private school for Florida home educators since 2012. Though we are tuition and fee free, we are not expense-free.
In order to operate as a legal private school under Florida law, Freedomschoolers Academy is registered with the Florida Department of Education Office of Independent Education and Parental Choice as well as being registered as a legal business (a Fictitious Name, in this case) with the Florida Department of State, Division of Corporations.
As a legal business, Freedomschoolers Academy pays Fictitious Name registration fees and annual County and City business tax/license fees. Outside the expenses of the legal requirements, there are annual domain, web hosting, and domain email fees.
In lieu of charging annual fees per child or per family, Freedomschoolers Academy is asking for donations to help keep Freedomschoolers Academy free for Florida home educating families. Your small donation would be greatly appreciated.
