WHY Donate?
Freedomschoolers Academy has operated as a tuition and fee free private school for Florida home educators for 7 years. Though we are tuition and fee free, we are not expense-free.
In order to operate as a legal private school under Florida law, Freedomschoolers Academy is registered with the Florida Department of Education Office of Independent Education and Parental Choice as well as being registered as a legal business (a Fictious Name in this case) with the Florida Department of State, Division of Corporations.
As a legal business, Freedomschoolers Academy pays Ficitious Name registration fees and annual County and City business tax/license fees. Outside the expenses of the legal requirements, there are annual domain, web hosting, and domain email fees.
In lieu of charging annual fees of $5 per child or $20 per family, Freedomchoolers Academy is asking for donations to help keep Freedomschoolers Academy free for Florida home educating families. Your small donation would be greatly appreciated.
