what happens if i miss an attendance reporting date?
Simply put, Attendance Reporting is the law. It is the only ongoing legal responsibility to maintain enrollment in Freedomschoolers Academy. Shirking that duty is risky business. FSA applies lots of grace in this area as we understand that parents are busy and forgetful. But once two full semesters go by and we have not received an Attendance Report, we will assume the parents have enrolled their student(s) elsewhere and administravitely withdraw the student(s) from FSA.
we are enrolling mid-semester, what do we report and when?
Your enrollment with Freedomschoolers Academy begins on the date you submit your enrollment form. You only need to report the days from that date through the end of the semester.
For example: if you enrolled on August 6th, you would start counting your school days on August 6th. At the end of the semester, (December 31st in this example), you would report all school days between August 6th and December 31st in your January attendance report.

what if mid-year enrollment prevents me from reporting 180 days?
In your first year, it is possible that you will not report 180 days between your first and second attendance reports if you enroll mid-term. In that case, your compliance with the attendance law is assumed to have been met.
